The Moving Process – It’s Never Too Early
The moving process can be tedious, time-consuming, and overwhelming as is. Add to that our current economic crisis and widespread pandemic and you, my friend, are experiencing unprecedented levels of stress regarding the moving process. Equipped with this to-do list, we aim to reduce as much of that stress as possible moving forward.
1. Call or text us at (469) 344-9544 right away. Being a small business that issues outstanding service, we tend to book up very quickly. With that said, no deposit is needed to get on the books and, assuming we have availability, we can reschedule your move date as you edge closer to move day. In addition to an estimate, we are at your disposal to discuss the moving process and point you toward other leading industry professionals that can help with real estate, packing, cleaning, etc.
2. Don’t just inquire about our general services as our conservative estimates will often reflect moving everything (furniture, appliances, boxes, and misc) within calculated blocks of square footage. The moving process can change based on specific needs. As an hourly company, our rates are directly determined by how many movers and trucks will be required to execute the most efficient/cost effective move for you. However, some customers prefer to budget for moving only furniture and appliances (items you are unable to handle yourself) or simply want to set a time limit to move as much as possible, in which case, we can tailor your estimate accordingly. With countless years of combined experience, our movers know exactly how to maximize your budget.
3. Have your realtor, home organizer, or anyone else assisting you reach out to us directly. Owners, Dillon and Bailey Bramblitt, answer all calls, emails, and texts personally and always welcome additional perspectives/intel from those delegated to help your move go off without a hitch!
4. Do not procrastinate with packing. Pack incrementally, pack well, or pay professionals to pack for you. This is probably one of the most important things in the moving process. We are often asked how to best prepare for move day and, without hesitation, this is our number one piece of advice. The more that you can box, bag, gather, and label before we arrive, the faster the move will go and the more money you save when the dust settles. Follow these guidelines diligently and you will quickly be on your way toward a successful experience all-around.
